Memorial Residence Located in sought-after Memorial, this residence was transformed from a small grouping of rooms to a now spacious kitchen and breakfast area which open into the living room with a new view. Walls were taken down between the kitchen and living room to achieve this open concept. A custom walk-in bar adds charm and architectural details from the Greek relief pattern in the millwork to the built-in wine rack. Granite countertops and a glass backsplash complete the look, providing elegance, and reflection for the new lighting suspended over the bar area. Across from the bar is a quiet nook for reading which adds additional seating and charm. The focal point in the living room is now a custom entertainment and display cabinet. This unit provides the desired space for personal items and their plasma television, which can be closed off when needed. A pair of oversized tufted club chairs and equally inviting sofa flank an hourglass leather ottoman. Seating is abundant in this living room, as is style, and comfort. This home had great bones and we were able to add to it with unique furnishings and custom millwork to create a unique look. The family now enjoys their kitchen and can easily hold conversations with their family and friends while cooking or relaxing at their new bar with a glass of wine.
