Longwood Residence Imagine going to a fabulous spa in the Hill Country of Texas, surrounded by natural materials and rich textures, and the sound of water. This was the goal for the remodel of a Master Bath retreat. Before the remodel, the use of cabinetry and storage were not meeting the needs for our client-so we revamped the function, style, and placement to incorporate a new vanity and additional upper storage. Using stone and river rock, we created a soothing environment and added color via glass mosaic tiles, nickel finishes and mahogany-stained furniture inspired cabinetry. The space opens up with the use of a frameless shower and the removal of a small linen closet. Lighting plays a huge part as multiple levels of task lighting, overhead lighting, and sconces all put on dimmers create a romantic retreat for this busy couple.
